Nakeem and I are filling in for the community DJ shift at WUOG 90.5fm and I am not made to be a DJ. I mean we played really awesome music tonight, but I am too nervous to be talking on the air. I should have emphasized my performance issues earlier to Nakeem, silly me thought mentioning it once meant he would understand. But my performance issues are like how shy I was as a kid, too shy to meet my neighbors. But we had a fun dance party. I'm good at being quiet on air and debating song sequence when we're off air.

You can't force a dance party, but for you I'll try.- Dent May & His Magnificent Ukulele

As soon as I talk to the right person I will officially have a Creative Writing emphasis on my degree. I am super SUPER excited about that. I still have to write more prose poem pieces to put in my chapbook and plan a date with Laura to make our chapbooks. On top of that I joined efforts with Lindsay and Jessica to write a novel in a month. No one said it couldn't be a crappy novel. Actually, no where in the rules and guidelines did it explain what a novel was. Shall I challenge the norm for a novel? Eh. Imitation is the best form of flattery. I think I will try being a little more autobiographical and write about the mixtapes in my life. Or explain the stories behind my mixes? We'll see. I doubt I could make anything as beautiful as Love is a Mix Tape.
