Happy New Year! Happy New Decade! Happy New You!

Reptar played two short notice shows at the end of 2019 and I was so bummed that I missed them. They are such a good ‘end of year/all your friends are in town’ band to see.

This song has so much energy and good memories attached to it. I think it’s a great way to start the year for Libby. Positivity! Music! Dancing! Be your best self! All that.

I made it to 99 books that I truthfully read in 2019. The library took forever getting my last book & then I was in a car accident on New Years. Not June is okay, minor bumper damage. I am...feeling so old. A girl hit the car behind me so fast that it slid into my car & my car absorbed the energy. The whiplash pain in my back comes and goes but when it comes damn it hurts so much.

I’m grateful that’s the worst of it.  The car that was pushed into mine was so badly damaged we couldn’t pull it off the road. No serious injuries.

So I’ll try for 100 books again this year. My raised beds arrived before Christmas so I will try my garden design again, but with four raised beds! Hoping to dive back into the music I love this year and see a few new bands. On the first my good mood was holding onto Reptar’s Oblange Fizz Y’all.  On the second I got Joanna Newsom stuck in my head. She’s not on Spotify and my “in the car cd” is all scratched up. On the third I had Come Around Sundown by Kings of Leon on repeat & repeat & carpool karaoke for one.
