Fitz and I are dance packing because tomorrow’s moving day! He’s curious about where I’ve been all day and affectionate as ever, so I had to play this song for him.

Today cane together beautifully, a universal apology for storms & migraines & crappy days. My boss boss was in a great mood. Announcing all kinds of positive changes for us. Impromptu lunch out at Enzo’s Sushi. Bento boxes for all! Then a two hour early release. Happy Friday!!!!!!

I bought new lights for my bathroom. Dad and I were on the brink of breaking them or us or both but we got them both up. Everything looks so much fresher. Except for the tub and the sinks and the cabinets, but pish posh the improvement is great for now!

New paint & smooth ceilings & a new fan in my bedroom. Way too many cups and miscellaneous kitchen things in my cabinets. A bedroom for guests with enough child like flair to work for auntie sleepovers. An office view to overlook my future garden. My new coffee table perfect for game night or pizza night! I can’t belive it’s finally here. Swoon baby, starry nights! It has a great view of the stars too! I’m so incredibly happy and scared and hopeful and determined and inspired and freaking excited!

Fitz popped back by with some kisses. He’s oblivious but totally crazy in love. He’s by far my favorite devil.

The angels gave us F. Scott Fitzgerald.

Three weeks is a very long time to go without talking to someone you're used to having around.  Three weeks is nothing when you travel a lot and the other person has a busy life.  I met my cousin's girlfriend for the first time this weekend and she reminded me so much of one of my favorite hometown friends.  The friend and I have hardly seen each other over the past year and she's about to leave to study abroad, which sadly, will feel not so different.  These days you can always Skype and there is nothing quite like receiving something in the actual mail.  Still, that doesn't erase the fact that we've been fools in friendship.

But I always seem to be the fool.  I have a roommate offer, but it wouldn't be until the end of June.  My big work event is in the end of June and I swore I wouldn't move during the dead of summer.  I'm a fool, not an idiot.

I have so many questions now.

This is what you need to know if you have any recent questions about me:

1.  I keep losing my phone charger and my phone is constantly dying.
2.  I have been forgetting a lot of things lately, including calling people back, texting responses, and responding to anything on facebook.
3.  I'm in the process of adopting an Aussie mix named Tess.  I've been spending a lot of time at different parks with her so if you want to hang out after 6 on a weekday and you have a dog, come meet us!  Pickneyville is right next to my office.
4. I'm moving out of my sister's.  She's been great, but it's too far and I hate how much time I spend in the car.
5. I was looking at living alone but I may have found 2 roommates who are totally cool with Fitz & Tess.
6.  My dear June is not doing so hot.  If my phone isn't dead, chances are I'm having car problems instead.
7.  I have been watching The Bible and Vikings on the History Channel every Sunday and Sail keeps getting stuck in my head.
8.  I got a promotion at work, but not the pay yet.  Not cool.  My new title is Events Coordinator.  Way cool.
9. If we haven't seen each other in a long time, chances are I want to hang out but have been too stressed/forgetful to reach out.

ALSO IN ONE WEEK I'LL BE IN HAWAII!

Seeing Lindsey last night was really nice but what came afterward really freaked me out. I feel like I need a week full of pick-me-ups to make me feel normal again. I am eternally grateful for my parents and how understanding and unconditional they are with me.

I just finished getting all of my stuff out of Athens so I have more boxes to organize and unpack and things to clean and put away. I've been craving brownies but my sister's kitchen is still new to me and I couldn't find anything to put them in. I wish there was someone I could invite over to help me decorate and eat brownies with me and watch a late night movie and girl talk like this whole summer never happened.
